The Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans to 6 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 16. Southeast Raleigh will face a Rams team coming off a 21-12 non-league loss to Garner (Garner, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-5.
The Spartans (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals go into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Fuquay - Varina was ripped by Cleveland (Clayton, NC), 28-14, in a league test.
