New York High School Soccer - Queens Complex nudges Academy of American Studies

In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Queens Complex soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Academy of American Studies Eagles.
The (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Newtown (Elmhurst, NY). The Pioneers come into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Newtown edged Lane (Brooklyn, NY), 4-1, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Metropolitan for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Academy of American Studies will clash with a team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Bryant (Queens, NY). The record now stands at 4-1.
