New York High School Soccer - Columbia knocks off Averill Park

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Columbia Blue Devils soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Averill Park Golden Knights.
The Blue Devils (12-0) will now prepare for their outing against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen go into the Suburban Council- Blue outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Shenendehowa was overwhelmed by Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY), 4-1, in a league test.
The Golden Knights now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Troy for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Averill Park will clash with a Flying Horses team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Cohoes (Cohoes, NY). The Flying Horses record now stands at 6-8.
