The Longhorns (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Aspen (Aspen, CO). The Skiers enter the 3A Western Slope battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Aspen was edged by Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bears battle the Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 14. Rifle will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Demons enter the battle with a 3-6 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO).
