The Walkersville Lions soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Boonsboro Warriors to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsport for a Gambrills bout on Monday, October 13. Walkersville will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-0.

With the loss, Boonsboro moves to 0-12 on the year. The Warriors host Catoctin (Thurmont, MD) to face the Cougars in a Class 1A West II game on Monday, October 13. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 3-8. Catoctin won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against New Life Christian (Frederick, MD)
