Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT), 1-0 in a league outing.

The Hatters (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Cadets go into the Fairfield County outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, St. Joseph was edged by New Canaan (New Canaan, CT), 1-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Harding Presidents (Bridgeport, CT) in a non-league outing, on Friday, October 10. Bridgeport Central will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Presidents go into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 1-1 non-league Amistad (New Haven, CT).
