The Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD) soccer nipped the host Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wilde Lake for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 13. Centennial will encounter a Wildecats squad coming off a 1-1 league River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Wildecats record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Oakland Mills drops to 4-5 on the season. The Scorpions host Glenelg (Glenelg, MD) to battle the Gladiators in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 14. The Gladiators enter the contest with a record of 10-0. Glenelg won 4-0 in their recent non-league contest against Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD)
