In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Poolesville Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 win over the Clarksburg Coyotes.

The Falcons (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Bulldogs enter the non-league outing with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Churchill nipped Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Coyotes now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gaithersburg for a non-league test on Monday, October 13. Clarksburg will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD). The Trojans record now stands at 4-5.
