Lancaster Mennonite Blazers (Lancaster, PA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA), 2-1 in a non-league outing.
The Blazers (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Warwick (Lititz, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 15-2 record. In their last outing, Warwick got by Eastern Lebanon County (Myerstown, PA), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Cedar Crest Falcons (Lebanon, PA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 14. Cocalico will attempt to advance on its 12-3 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 11-7 record after their 0-0 non-league Exeter Township (Reading, PA).
