In Thursday's league outing, the host Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 win over the Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars.
The Trailblazers (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Olathe South (Olathe, KS). The Falcons enter the Sunflower outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Olathe South was edged by Lawrence Free State (Lawrence, KS), 2-0, in a league outing.
