The Harvard Hornets smashed the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs soccer team by a tally of 6-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Hornets face the Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 11. Harvard will attempt to advance on its 14-6 season record. The J-Hawks come into the game with a 7-6 record after their 7-0 league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, IL).
The Cogs (10-12) will now prepare for their game against Harvest-Westminster (Elgin, IL). The Warrior-Lions come into the non-league bout with a 20-3 record. In their last bout, Harvest-Westminster nudged St. Edward (Elgin, IL), 9-0, in a non-league bout.
