Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host Heights Falcons (Wichita, KS), 5-4 in a league outing.

The Grizzlies (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Manhattan (Manhattan, KS). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Manhattan was tipped by Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS), 7-1, in a league test.

The Falcons now sport a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Classical for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 14. Heights will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS). The Saints record now stands at 9-4.
