The Hinsdale South Hornets soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Proviso East Pirates to 1 in the Hornets league victory on Thursday.

The Hornets now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Nazareth Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, October 13. Hinsdale South will play a Roadrunners squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, Proviso East moves to 5-11 on the year. The Pirates travel to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, October 13.
