New Mexico High School Soccer - Rio Grande nudges Hobbs

In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Rio Grande Ravens soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Hobbs Eagles.
The Ravens (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers enter the 5A District 5 outing with a 1-13 record. In their last outing, Los Lunas was tipped by Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 10-0, in a league test.
The Eagles now sport a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Roswell for a 5A District 4 test on Tuesday, October 14. Hobbs will clash with a Coyotes team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 11-6.
