In Thursday's non-league contest, the The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers (Egg Harbor City, NJ) soccer team routed the visiting Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ), by a tally of 5-1.
Next, the Pioneers face the Kearny Christian Academy Lions (Kearny, NJ) in a Jersey United contest, on Friday, October 10. The Pilgrim Academy will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 5-0 league loss to Calvary Academy (Lakewood, NJ).
With the loss, Holy Spirit moves to 6-5 on the year. The Spartans travel to Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ) to encounter the Falcons in a Cape/Atlantic - United challenge on Monday, October 13. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 7-1.
