The Lawrence Lions held off the visiting Shawnee Mission South Raiders soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Lions face the Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS) in a Sunflower game, on Tuesday, October 14. Lawrence will attempt to advance on its 10-1 season record. The Lancers come into the game with a 7-2 record after their 5-0 league win over Olathe North (Olathe, KS).
