West Virginia High School Soccer - Winfield knocks off Lincoln County

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Winfield Generals soccer squad scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Lincoln County Panthers.
The Generals (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Timberwolves go into the non-league outing with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Spring Valley Nitro (Nitro, WV), 2-2, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now sport a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they host Ripley for a Cardinal test on Saturday, October 11. Lincoln County will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 1-0 league win over Herbert Hoover (Elkview, WV). The Vikings record now stands at 9-6.
