In Thursday's league contest, the Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) soccer team edged the visiting Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA), by a count of 1-0.
Next, the Aces battle the Harriton Rams (Rosemont, PA) in a Central contest, on Saturday, October 11. Lower Merion will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 14-1 record after their 5-0 league win over Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA).
The Panthers (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA). The Royals enter the Central contest with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Upper Darby was nudged by Haverford (Havertown, PA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
