The Sussex Academy Seahawks held off the host Seaford Bluejays soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Seahawks clash with the Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) in a Henlopen South game, on Wednesday, October 15. Sussex Academy will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record.
The Bluejays (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Panthers come into the non-league game with a 1-10 record. In their last game, Polytech was nudged by Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE), 5-1, in a league bout.
