The Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL) volleyball knocked off the host Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes (Abingdon, IL), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 21-3 record. They play next when they host Peoria for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. Sherrard will clash with a Lions team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Lions record now stands at 1-13.
