Bergan Catholic Knights (Fremont, NE) boosters left the game pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights (19-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Concordia (Omaha, NE). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 21-5 record. In their last challenge, Concordia beat Gross Catholic (Omaha, NE), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Monarchs meet the Concordia Mustangs (Omaha, NE) in a C1 District 3 challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Aquinas will attempt to upgrade on its 3-21 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 23-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bergan Catholic (Fremont, NE).
