The Orono Spartans volleyball team (Long Lake, MN), was knocked off 3-0 in Thursday's league contest with the host Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN)

The Red Knights (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, St. Cloud Cathedral was knocked off by Milaca (Milaca, MN), 3-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN) in a Metro West battle, on Saturday, October 11. Orono will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
