Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] Wildcats (Leeds, ND) and the visiting St. John Woodchucks (St. John, ND), observed Benson County [Leeds/Maddock]'s volleyball team top St. John by a count of 3-0.

The Wildcats (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Harvey (Harvey, ND). The Hornets go into the B - Region 4 battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Harvey achieved victory over Rugby (Rugby, ND), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Woodchucks now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Four Winds/Minnewaukan for a B - Region 4 test on Tuesday, October 14. St. John will face a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND). The Indians record now stands at 0-8.
