With the win, Newtown advances its record to 6-6 on the season. The Nighthawks host Pomperaug (Southbury, CT) to face the Panthers in a Southwest-Colonial test on Monday, October 13. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 5-7.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Weston Trojans (Weston, CT) in a Southwest-Colonial challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Bunnell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record.
