The Capital Cougars topped the host Calhoun Red Devils volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a Mountain State outing, on Tuesday, October 14. Capital will attempt to better on its 10-18 season record. The Red Dragons come into the outing with a 20-14 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV).

With the loss, Calhoun drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to St. Marys (St. Marys, WV) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Little Kanawha bout on Monday, October 13. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 15-10. St. Marys won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV)
