In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Clinton Redwolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Monroe Trojans.
The Redwolves (21-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 28-5 record. In their last challenge, Lakeview beat Gull Lake (Richland, MI), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Jonesville Comets (Jonesville, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Vandercook Lake (Jackson, MI).
