Dillingham Wolverines (Dillingham, AK) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Cook Inlet Academy Eagles (Soldotna, AK), 1-0 in a non-league test.

The Wolverines (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ninilchik (Ninilchik, AK). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Ninilchik was nudged by Cook Inlet Academy (Soldotna, AK), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Sand Point Eagles/Lady Eagles (Sand Point, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Cook Inlet Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Eagles/Lady Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Birchwood Christian (Chugiak, AK).
