The Crow Creek Chieftains topped the host Marty Indian Braves volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
The Chieftains now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Lakota Tech for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 14. Crow Creek will play a Tatanka team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Omaha Nation (Macy, NE). The Tatanka record now stands at 22-9.
With the loss, Marty Indian drops to 2-17 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD) to play the Thorpes in a non-league outing on Friday, October 10. The Thorpes come into the outing with a record of 12-7. Pine Ridge lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Bennett County (Martin, SD)
