In Thursday's non-league bout, the Evansville North Huskies (Evansville, IN) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN), by a margin of 3-0.

The Huskies now possess a 25-1 record. They play next when they host Danville for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. Evansville North will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Franklin Community (Franklin, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 16-8.

Next, the Wildcats battle the Heritage Hills Patriots (Lincoln City, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 16. Mt. Vernon will attempt to move on its 9-17 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 15-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN).
