Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the St. Martinville Tigers (St. Martinville, LA) and the visiting Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers (Lake Charles, LA), observed St. Martinville's volleyball team top Lake Charles College Prep by a tally of 3-0.

The Tigers (12-13) will now prepare for their contest against Northside (Lafayette, LA). The Vikings go into the Division III District 3 test with a 2-8 record.

The Trailblazers now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy for a non-league test on Monday, October 13. Lake Charles College Prep will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Opelousas (Opelousas, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-13.
