Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the MacArthur Highlanders (Lawton, OK) and the host Lawton Wolverines (Lawton, OK), observed MacArthur's volleyball team top Lawton by a count of 3-0.

The Highlanders (20-12) will now prepare for their contest against Coweta (Coweta, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 9-21 record. In their last contest, Coweta was knocked off by Glenpool (Glenpool, OK), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Altus Bulldogs (Altus, OK) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 13. Lawton will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 30-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Elgin (Elgin, OK).
