In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Lewis County Minutemen volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the North Marion Huskies.
The Minutemen (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Bearcats enter the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last challenge, Grafton beat Lincoln (Shinnston, WV), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Huskies meet the Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV) in a Two Rivers challenge, on Thursday, October 9. North Marion will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Bearcats go into the test with a 13-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Lincoln (Shinnston, WV).
