The Surrey Mustangs topped the host Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Mustangs face the Velva Aggies (Velva, ND) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 13. Surrey will attempt to advance on its 11-1 season record. The Aggies go into the game with a 15-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] (Berthold, ND).
The Mavericks (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Drake/Anamoose (Drake, ND). The Raiders come into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record.
