St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host North Clay Cardinals (Louisville, IL), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs (23-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Vandalia (Vandalia, IL). The Vandals come into the non-league challenge with a 2-24 record. In their last challenge, Vandalia lost by Litchfield (Litchfield, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals play the Oblong Panthers (Oblong, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 14. North Clay will attempt to advance on its 7-20 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 21-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Hutsonville/Palestine (Palestine, IL).
