In Thursday's non-league match, the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones (Springfield, IL) volleyball squad overcame the host St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Cyclones battle the Hannibal Pirates (Hannibal, MO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 11. Sacred Heart-Griffin will attempt to move on its 14-9 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 17-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO).

The Bulldogs (3-16) will now prepare for their battle against Tuscola (Tuscola, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 7-13 record.
