The Union City Chargers volleyball squad (Union City, MI), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Johns Redwings (St. Johns, MI)

With the win, St. Johns improves its record to 12-12 on the season. The Redwings travel to Eastern (Lansing, MI) to encounter the Quakers in a battle on Tuesday, October 14. The Quakers enter the contest with a record of 6-15. Eastern lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against East Lansing (East Lansing, MI)

Next, the Chargers meet the Onsted Wildcats (Onsted, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 11. Union City will attempt to upgrade on its 13-14 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 6-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Madison (Adrian, MI).
