West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Valley Springs Tigers (Valley Springs, AR), 90-84 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Side upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Timbo (Timbo, AR) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, November 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Tigers play the Wonderview Daredevils (Hattieville, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 4. Valley Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Daredevils go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 76-63 non-league loss to Lisa Academy North (Sherwood, AR).
