The Hondo Valley Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Carrizozo Grizzlies to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountainair for a 1A District 3 game on Thursday, November 3. Hondo Valley will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-15.
