The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY) and the visiting Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY), saw Academy of the Holy Names's volleyball squad beat Averill Park by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Academy of the Holy Names upgrades its record to 20-2 on the year. The travel to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 4. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 37-4. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Queensbury (Queensbury, NY)

The Warriors now own a 9-16 record.
