The Eleanor McMain Mustangs football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Abramson Commodores to 16 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now hold a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to McDonogh 35 for a 4A District 10 test on Thursday, November 7. Eleanor McMain will meet a Roneagles squad coming off a 48-6 league win over Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA). The Roneagles record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Abramson drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Commodores host Willow (New Orleans, LA) to meet the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, November 8. The Lions come into the test with a record of 4-6. Willow lost 56-13 in their recent non-league test against Haynesville (Haynesville, LA)
