South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA), 42-0 in a league battle.

With the win, South Lafourche improves its record to 4-6 on the season. The Tarpons host Lutcher (Lutcher, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A District 8 battle on Friday, November 8. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 8-0. Lutcher won 48-0 in their recent league battle against Morgan City (Morgan City, LA)

The Patriots now have a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Morgan City for a 4A District 8 battle on Friday, November 8. A.J. Ellender will play a Tigers team coming off a 48-0 league loss to Lutcher (Lutcher, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-9.
