The Big Sandy Wildcats football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Hawkins Hawks to 34 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Union Grove for a 2A-1 Region III District 10 test on Friday, November 8. Big Sandy will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 35-14 league loss to Harleton (Harleton, TX). The Lions record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Hawkins drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Waskom (Waskom, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 2A-1 Region III District 10 test on Friday, November 8. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 7-2. Waskom won 41-14 in their recent league test against Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX)
