Texas High School Football - Peaster trounces Boyd

In Friday's league match, the host Peaster Greyhounds football squad scored a decisive 45-8 triumph over the Boyd Yellowjackets.

The Greyhounds (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Vernon (Vernon, TX). The Lions come into the 3A-1 Region I District 4 match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Vernon routed Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX), 55-13, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets confront the Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) in a 3A-1 Region I District 4 match, on Friday, November 8. Boyd will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 7-2 record after their 40-16 league win over Ponder (Ponder, TX).
