North Carolina High School Football - R-S Central knocked off by East Rutherford

November 1, 2024: Forest City, NC 28018

In Friday's league game, the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) football team overcame the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), by a tally of 57-26.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 game, on Friday, November 8. East Rutherford will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 2-7 record after their 47-21 league loss to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC).

The Hilltoppers (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Blue Devils enter the 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Brevard notched a victory over Polk County (Columbus, NC), 55-0, in a league game.
