The Glasgow Scotties football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers to 14 in the Scotties non-league triumph on Friday.

The Scotties now hold a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union County for a non-league test on Friday, November 8. Glasgow will meet a Braves squad coming off a 49-20 non-league win over Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Braves record now stands at 9-2.

With the defeat, Somerset drops to 6-4 on the campaign. The Briar jumpers host Owen County (Owenton, KY) to meet the Rebels in a non-league test on Friday, November 8. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 7-4. Owen County lost 20-7 in their recent league test against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY)
