Texas High School Football - Grapevine Faith Christian thwarted by Midland Christian

Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Grapevine Faith Christian Lions (Grapevine, TX), 49-28 in a league battle.

With the win, Midland Christian improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Mustangs host Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS Division II District 1 battle on Friday, November 8. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 3-6. Trinity Christian lost 7-0 in their recent league battle against Southwest Christian School (Fort Worth, TX)

The Lions now have a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Worth Christian for a TAPPS Division II District 1 battle on Friday, November 8. Grapevine Faith Christian will play a Cardinals team coming off a 37-14 league loss to All Saints (Fort Worth, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-3.
