Maryland High School Football - Gwynn Park trounces Largo

November 1, 2024: Brandywine, MD 20613

In Friday's league match, the host Gwynn Park Yellowjackets football squad scored a decisive 42-6 victory over the Largo Lions.

The Yellowjackets (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Hurricanes enter the non-league match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Huntingtown routed Northern (Owings, MD), 42-28, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Lions confront the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 8. Largo will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Chargers enter the outing with a 5-4 record after their 10-0 league loss to Great Mills (Great Mills, MD).
