In Friday's league match, the host Harmony Eagles football squad scored a good 19-7 triumph over the Lone Oak Buffaloes.

The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Prairiland (Pattonville, TX). The Patriots come into the 3A-2 Region III District 9 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Prairiland went down by Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX), 56-13, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Buffaloes meet the Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) in a 3A-2 Region III District 9 match, on Friday, November 8. Lone Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 61-20 league win over Chisum (Paris, TX).
