The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) and the visiting Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX), witnessed Panhandle's football squad wallop Highland Park by a tally of 64-0.

The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Spearman (Spearman, TX). The Lynx enter the 2A-1 Region I District 1 contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Spearman was trounced by West Texas (Stinnett, TX), 28-27, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Hornets battle the Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX) in a 2A-1 Region I District 1 contest, on Friday, November 8. Highland Park will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 1-8 record after their 49-0 league loss to Sunray (Sunray, TX).
