Holland Hornets (Holland, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host San Saba Armadillos (San Saba, TX), 44-41 in a league test.

The Hornets now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thorndale for a 2A-1 Region IV District 14 test on Friday, November 8. Holland will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 40-25 league win over Harper (Harper, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, San Saba drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Armadillos host Mason (Mason, TX) to meet the Punchers in a 2A-1 Region IV District 14 challenge on Friday, November 8. The Punchers go into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Mason won 63-17 in their recent league challenge against Johnson City (Johnson City, TX)
